Comprehensive Counseling: 60–75 minutes

Initial counseling sessions will include an assessment of your medical issues, lab results, (if pertinent), medications, and current eating habits, diet, and lifestyle. We will work together to develop personalized guidelines for daily living, meal planning strategies, and habit changes that are realistic for you.

Follow-Up Appointments: 30–35 minutes

*All in person appointments include following strict COVID-19 protocols as established by the CDC and Michigan Department of Health, including wearing a mask, temperature taking upon arrival and completing COVID-19 health questionnaire. The office is arranged to provide six feet of space between client and counselor.

The federal Medicare program covers a Registered Dietitian’s services for diabetes and non-dialysis kidney disease. A physician’s referral is required.
